Carers Week 2026 (8th – 14th June 2026)

As part of Carers Week 2026, our practice is encouraging patients who provide unpaid care to a family member, friend or neighbour to let us know.

Many people do not see themselves as carers but if you regularly support someone who is ill, disabled, frail, has a mental health condition or struggles with daily activities, you may be an unpaid carer.

Identifying carers helps us ensure that appropriate support, advice and signposting are available.

Carers Support Event

We are pleased to invite unpaid carers to our local Carers Support Event:

• Date: Thursday 25 June 2026
• Time: 10am-12pm
• Venue: Clapham Park Cub. 116 Kings Avenue, SW4 8EP

The event will provide information about local services, support available to carers, practical advice and opportunities to connect with others in similar situations.

Please Tell Us If You Are A Carer

By letting us know about your caring responsibilities, we can:

• Record your carer status on your medical record
• Signpost you to local support services
• Help ensure your needs as a carer are recognised
• Keep you informed about future support opportunities

To register as a carer with the practice, please speak to a member of our reception team.
